His International record would be a major concern and @Dutch Toffee really hates him which is never a good sign.
I don't hate him. As a back up option I'd have him, but never as our first choice striker. His goal to games ratio might be amazing, but that is at his level. There's a reason he's still 2nd choice behind Vincent Janssen for our national team
Well duh, thats cos Vinny J is an actual supreme footballing talent.
He wouldnt cost "back up" money, I think hes a "back up" to Giroud, we wouldnt sign 2 lumps, well, I doubt we would.
From what ive seen, Giroud is vastly superior, but hes also older.
