Summer Transfer Window 2017

Little known fact Andrew Robertson was released by celtic prior to going to Queens Park and then Dundee Utd. For being too small. Celtic seem to have moved on from that mentality now mind you. Good player who would fit in well here. Rate kierney as being slightly better here and now and he is 3 years (?) his junior.
Assumed he came through the ranks at Dundee. Must have been young when Celtic ditched him.

Players can come from anywhere. Bassogog just won player of the tournament honors in Africa and was in the 2nd division of US soccer less than 2 years ago.

The point is that a bunch of U23 signings would be good along with senior club acquisitions.

Robertson is a fine player, but would he be happy playing backup to Baines for another year?? Be delighted if we signed him as I would Tierney. Celtic will be looking for big money for him mind, they got rightly mugged for Wanyama, Forster and VVD so are adamant they won't get caught again.

Think he was 16 when celtic ditched him. My mate coached him at 15s and i know his size was the issue. Then played a season and a bit at the amateurs Queens Park, then signed for United, only played there for a season before moving to england. His progression at Queens Park was unbelievable. He continued that with Dundee utd for that year. He hasn't progressed much further with hull, probably due to the horrendous injury but would still be a terrific back up / eventual replacement for baines. Particularly since his contract is up in July I believe.

Show me the math!

Just look at Burnley's results

How many wins would have been draws and how many draws would have been losses if they didn't have Heaton?

I'm confident you could find 10-15 points there that he's won them. Look at the Man United game at Old Trafford for instance. Would they have gotten a point without his amazing saves? I doubt it

I rate him massively, and have for a couple of seasons now

He's a top keeper

No, but where would we have picked up 10-15 more points this season with him rather than our boys?

Look at Stek at Man City where he basically single handedly won us a point. Or Joel's recent form.

You know I like Heaton by the way.
