Koeman won't sign players he doesn't actually want us to have. If he wants Rooney, that's fine by me.

Loving thisWRD on TEF
Deal agreed in principle for a free transfer over 3 weeks ago. Then over the last few days United now asking for £10m for him. (Mourinho)
Rooney apparently seen his arse now. Says we are the only club he wants to play for once he leaves United.
We are going for it big time in the summer. VVD is still the top name on Koemans list.
Lots of people felt that so my judgement is massively out on Chilwell. He just moved like a young Baines did I felt, and thought he coped with Rom ok when Rom ran at him. Looks like he's got a great left foot, which in all honesty I think I do like to see!
I am not sure. It seems a good deal, and if we rate him highly enough I think we'd pay accordingly. I just don't know if they were looking at them in the 2-3 million pound price range as opposed to the upwards of 10 million range. Thats not to say he isn't worth the higher fee, as he's proven himself in the championship, but whether that was our initial intention. We will see.

Not sure how I feel about this, don't understand why we are after Rooney at all. Feels small time in a way.
VVD would be an unbelievable signing but we had better not spend all summer bidding for him before settling on another Ashley Williams type come August...
Dont know myself, maybe they feel he just needs a change of scenery. On a free I have no problem especially if the deal is a 2-3 year one.
He's not really done anything in years and it's not exactly like he has the lifestyle or body shape to play into his thirties.
A friend of mine runs a bar in Hale, said Rooney came in on a weeknight and demanded a lock-in. They ended up topless wrestling, drinking, smoking well into the night. Sounds like the type of player who wants an easy retirement at Everton and not to kick us on.
Many, many better options out there if we can extend our scouting beyond United outcasts
Let them have today Chico. Besides @Mrtallywacker wouldn't want any in-fighting on Palm Sunday.
I personally dont want him back but Koeman and Walsh must think he has something left to offer.
I think if he truly wanted an easy retirement and didn't care about the team's well-being, he would have taken the outrageous offers from China. He's not really done anything in years and it's not exactly like he has the lifestyle or body shape to play into his thirties.

Thing is United know they can get a fee from someone for him, so I'm not surprised they are putting a price on this.WRD on TEF
