Summer Transfer Window 2017

It's a good header. I suppose it's just how he looks, he certainly looks a bit of a throwback, which is probably slightly unfair on him. I think there's a lad with potential in there, I wouldn't be disappointed to see him come in but he's not my first choice.

Oh I wasn't referencing his header - although good - I was showing you the through ball at 1:08 haha.

I do think we will see a lot of lads come in who are really from left field this summer. I can see Walsh’s influence going and us trying to keep things under wraps as much as possible.

I also think you will see what looks like confusion on some of the younger lads we target, though it’s more a reflection of a pretty good system we have in place. Primarily you have got Walsh’s task force, who were told to find the best 5 players in the country. Alongside that you have got Unsworth who when he sees players he likes up against him (or former players like DCL) he is pushing to sign more. Then Walsh, who is looking for probably bigger name players to push the first team squad (such as Lookman). Either way you will see young players arriving.

exactly, that's why we've got to show a willingness for them to at least play some part as a first XIer, what needs to be remembered, a fairly highly touted gabbidiani was happy to come here when he would have been pretty much, just that. I like someone like giroud, arsenal fans dislike him a lot, but he has a very good goals per minutes ratio last couple of seasons, yet still doesn't get trusted. his only issue is not always showing up in the massive massive games hence why arsenal fans seem to dislike him, but we're not at that stage yet, i think he'd be a great option, because he has that bit of arrogance about him which would mean he'd fancy taking rom's spot off him. Would be a great partnership too i think.
Due to our hopeful involvement in the Europa league, there is going to be far more opportunities for players to play more regular first team football due to squad rotation. In a perfect world more opportunities would be given to our under 23 squad, but at least any players we buy this summer will be guaranteed first team football, be it in the league cup or Europa league.

As i said mate, we will see really, we are at the point to get certain players we need to keep it really in house till it's signed and sealed (unlike the lad who went to Arsenal for example) OR we need to in essence overpay for certain players (at least short term anyway)

IF we will do is another matter, be interesting to see - as this really needs to be a massive window where we stop talking about the project etc and actually show people that we as a club are serious.

BTW, having seen Arsenal last night - we will 100% finish above them this season mate, they have utterly downed tools on the manager
You have more faith in these bottlers than I do. Arsenal still have two games in hand and I can see us losing to them last day of the season in that six pointer, and we'll struggle to get more than a point against Chelsea at home. Even if we win all the other games (we wont) it'd give us 13 points and a 67 point finish. Not sure both United and Arsenal wont rack that up.

Sigurdsson - more goals, more assists this season in a worse side. Given the amount of goals Everton have scored, you'd expect Barkley to have more of both.
Besides that, Sigurdsson offers a lot more in his all around play - Awareness, Passing range, linkup play.
The only thing i see ross is better than sigurdsson is his physicality

Then you don't understand football that well. Remember what happened to him at Spurs?
