Yes it does matter as we aren't a Pulis team who only score from set pieces.

It's a good header. I suppose it's just how he looks, he certainly looks a bit of a throwback, which is probably slightly unfair on him. I think there's a lad with potential in there, I wouldn't be disappointed to see him come in but he's not my first choice.

Think he looks more ungainly than he is. A bit like Richard Dunne at City. He does appear more comfortable with the ball at his feet than Gibson and Keane though.

Ok well one of his goals this season was a set piece, can't tell you about assists, but still more goals regardless, in a team far worse.

FWIW I would love someone like Sigurdsson. Not at the expense of Ross but in addition to. With regards to him being a “set-piece” player, would that not be something that would be good to have, considering we have scored just one direct free kick this season? Also it’s never a bad thing to have someone who can whip a good corner in.

Again, doesn't matter about age. Just look at Payet. Even ibrahimovic to a certain extent, he's scored more after 30 than before.

Tha's irrelevant. He has entered his prime now at Swansea.

You have more faith in these bottlers than I do. Arsenal still have two games in hand and I can see us losing to them last day of the season in that six pointer, and we'll struggle to get more than a point against Chelsea at home. Even if we win all the other games (we wont) it'd give us 13 points and a 67 point finish. Not sure both United and Arsenal wont rack that up.

arsenal only have two games I fancy them to win left mate, Boro and Sunderland. Similar United have much harder fixtures than anyone now.

Will be surprised if either reaches 67, never mind both

Fail to see any reason why he isn't. As the poster above said, only thing he's not as good at is the strength aspect.
