Clearly we needed an experienced cover right back, Martina might not even start but if it goes wrong for Holgate/Kenny then we can play the old head till Coleman is back. Maybe Dowell is just going to slot into the squad in place of Ross once we sign Gylfi, Koeman may rate Dowell more than Ross as he works harder.
Going to be a fun season if he is going to give the kids a chance, we have lots of games (hopefully) and he can always spend in January if he feels he needs to.
