Inter now enquiring United about a swap deal, Perisic for Martial.

Hasn't been on our radar but the opportunity was there given the Rom deal. Had that been the case we would have still had room for another striker, say Giroud. Options of Sandro, Rooney, Martial and Giroud, how good would that have been? Got all qualities you want covered there.

Now Martial hasn't been on form for a while now, but for a reduced fee he's worth a look for any team (No idea what United value him at) but has a lot of potential and quality still unfulfilled.

Not saying we should go for him, but an interesting player nonetheless, and perhaps the calibre of player we should be looking at.

I would love Martial. Not sure why Mourinho doesn't fancy him but even more so than Rashford he's the One young Utd player I think has the potential to go right to the top. They would never sell him to us.

Besic has been a poor signing.

Been here years and hardly played.

There's a difference between being a poor signing and unlucky with injuries. Hopefully Besic will have a great year.

We just had 5 lads in the u20 england squad, and 2 lads in u21 squad. I think if one thing is not a problem at everton it isnt we dont have enough young english kids around.

....a few rumours for Saturday morning;

- According to 4th Official, Everton are still keen on bolstering their midfield with interest in Mario Lemina from Juventus. Lemina has been largely out of favour with Juventus coach, Maxi Allegri. FootMercato suggest Bayer Leverkusen have joined Everton in pursuit of the player.

- Skybet have installed Everton as clear favourites to sign Crystal Palace powerhouse, Christian Benteke.

- Sky Sports report that West Ham have ended their pursuit of Olivier Giroud, leaving the path clear for Everton to sign the Arsenal forward.

- ChronicleLive suggests talks are at an advanced stage to bring highly rated youngster, Lewis Gibson, from Newcastle to Everton. The 16 year old primarily plays at left back. Sky Sports Northern reporter, Peter O'Rourke, also says Gibson is on the verge of a move to Goodison.

- The official Barcelona website has finally confirmed the transfer of Gerald Deulofeu from Everton. Barcelona have activated their £10.2m buy back clause.

- Italian outlet, Tuttosport, claim Inter Milan have enquired about Everton defender Funes Mori despite the player being out with a lengthy injury.
