Cover in every position is a strange concept. It goes against the Total Football idea, no?
Players at this level should be able to fill in various positions.
Walter Smith, is that you, with your eight centre-halves dotted round the pitch?

In the last 10 days, carragher, Quinn, Danny Murphy, Robbie Fowler and now David James have all commented on Everton's transfer dealings. In comparison I've seen don Hutchinson and Alan Stubbs.
Why is this? Is it due to RS biased media, or are they genuinely a little concerned about the 'bitter blues' or a bit of both. In my lifetime I've never seen so many ex RS players speaking about Everton.
probably will get a left sided defender that can play be LB and LCB cover as opposed to two new defendersKoeman says we'll bring in one or two more. We need a centre forward and cover at left back, for sure. With Funes-Mori's injury, another centre back would be a good idea, also.
I have a gut feeling that the best is yet to come.
Your reply doesn't tally with what I posted. Also, since when was English a race
We should be offering aubameyang 250k-300k a week and making a bid.

BK said 3 or 4 more. I'd bet on that being more accurate with the Funes Mori injury situation and further player sales.Koeman says we'll bring in one or two more.
Sky make it sound like West Ham could block us....a few rumours for Saturday morning;
- According to 4th Official, Everton are still keen on bolstering their midfield with interest in Mario Lemina from Juventus. Lemina has been largely out of favour with Juventus coach, Maxi Allegri. FootMercato suggest Bayer Leverkusen have joined Everton in pursuit of the player.
- Skybet have installed Everton as clear favourites to sign Crystal Palace powerhouse, Christian Benteke.
- Sky Sports report that West Ham have ended their pursuit of Olivier Giroud, leaving the path clear for Everton to sign the Arsenal forward.
- ChronicleLive suggests talks are at an advanced stage to bring highly rated youngster, Lewis Gibson, from Newcastle to Everton. The 16 year old primarily plays at left back. Sky Sports Northern reporter, Peter O'Rourke, also says Gibson is on the verge of a move to Goodison.
- The official Barcelona website has finally confirmed the transfer of Gerald Deulofeu from Everton. Barcelona have activated their £10.2m buy back clause.
- Italian outlet, Tuttosport, claim Inter Milan have enquired about Everton defender Funes Mori despite the player being out with a lengthy injury.
IMO as much as it would be nice to have another CB it's not really vital at the moment, we have Keane, Williams, jags and Holgate also Mori when fit. So I can't really see Koeman being to bothered about another CB.Koeman says we'll bring in one or two more. We need a centre forward and cover at left back, for sure.
