Koeman never gave him a minute at cb at Saints mate, neither did Puel, he played their in Holland a fair bit, but it's telling that Koeman didn't let him near the position in a better league

I agree for sure, I'm just thinking we no longer have the money for our top, top targets at centre back, although I'd stop the Iceland Man pursuit if it meant buying a top end starter

i would throw Besic into the equation though.

Do think he may be tested there and think it could work in the right system (3 at the back) and games.
