Summer Transfer Window 2017

Arsenal just shown us how's it's done. Slap big wages on the table and get them signed. This is the paradox situation the club is in right now, we talk a big game but don't offer the fee's or wages to sign the big players. Like Kenwright haggling over the Schneiderlein transfer fee in which Koeman flipped after the Leicester game- we are far too slow in signing players.

If we approach a player 2 days ago have them signed before an Arsenal or Tottenham get wind and come in. The exact same with Perez in the summer. Obviously these clubs are more attractive but other clubs seem to find a way around this why can we never seem too?

Once again you mention Kenwright and transfer dealing. Back it up that it was him haggling over the Schnederlin deal or admit you are assuming it.

Hope we aren't doing all the ground work and then other clubs just come in at the last minute.

To young foreign players, we have been an irrelevant nothing club for their entire lives, we have to work harder than the other big clubs to prove to players we are worth signing for.

Do deals quick before others have the chance to act.

This summer it is absolute vital we get it right. Moshiri can't be coming out saying we went all the way to the asking price for players and then not get them (£60m Koulibaly!).

It is either put up, or shut up.

I actually believe that Koeman has been somewhat upbeat regarding the summer, so I'm fairly confident we'll start next season with a much stronger squad.

Kenwright deals with the transfers that was confirmed months ago, Koeman ranted post Leicester at the Schneiderlein transfer in which Utd had a price set and the player wanted to join but we were lowballing under the £24 million asking price. At any point a arsenal or Spurs could have came in and swooped Schneiderlein thanks to Bill dicking about.

I'm sorry but you have to be pretty dense to not put 2+2 together, especially when it's involving the bloke who has oversaw such transfer fiascos as the Moutinho delegation that's never been seen since, Fernandes, and countless others and most recently Sissoko, Perez (thank God) etc etc.

Other clubs outside of the top 4 somehow manage to tie up deals despite interest from other clubs quickly why are we so different? Because all the others have modern day businessmen at the helm whilst we have a bloke in the Whelan local owner/negotiatior of the 70's mould that's history.

Just yesterday you accused me of slagging off the club and bringing it down. Now, what are you doing????

Back it up, prove Kenwright was the issue in these deals you mention. To me, you are making assumptions and are running with it.

Sissoko deal never happened because Farhad said McCarthy was part of the family.

Admit it, you have made this stuff up in your head without proof.

Okay mate Kenwright has absolutely no part to play in our transfer cock ups, despite being owner for near 2 decades, investing £0 in the playing squad and now in the role in transfer negotiations - such negotiations in which we offered less than the selling clubs asking price in deals such as Schneiderlein, Watch this space etc etc

Back it up. If you are going to slate Kenwright prove it.

So every decision and offer was made by him? Even when ill or these recent windows?? Every offer and negotation was personally done by Kenwright and the likes of Walsh, Elstone or agents acting on our behalf never did anything??

Admit it, you have made it up.

Im done arguing with a bloke who's essentially Davek lite. Although tbf to Dave atleast he doesn't stalk you about the forum disliking posts and accusing you of playing fifa/making stuff up because you've called out his site wummery.

Have a good evening mate

So you admit it, you can't back it up.

The only wummery here is by you. All i've said is back up your claims that all our transfer mishaps is due solely to Kenwright.

We will have a number of individuals doing various deals from Steve Walsh and his team.

Dont get me wrong Walsh and Elstone both have to take some of the blame, but we have been notorious in all sorts of low balling offers, phantom bids, drawn our transfer dealings and dithering over fee's for years now and Bill Kenwright is the one lasting figurehead of the previous 2 decades.

He's the Chairman and the one who plays a role in negotiations as confirmed months ago as far as I'm concerned the buck largely stops with him.

Does he have to show it's SOLELY due to Kenwright? What's the common denominator here? Elstone and Kenwright. Amateurs who cock up anything they are charged to do.

feel like there are better players out there than Kolasinac, would've been nice to get him but some of the wages being touted about for him were obscene. Baines is still very solid; him and Galloway are more than capable of playing the role next season imo

Is Dominic King reliable? Reckons we are close to signing that Real Socieldad forward for £28 million. 11 goals in 28, wouldn't mind him as a back up forward but don't like the sound of him as Roms replacement.
