Also Koeman in the guardian and other news outlets as been talking up Keane ahead of tomorrow's game and hinting that IF we did go in and sign Keane it wouldn't mean the end for Jags's Everton career!

Sounds like Koeman really rates him.

That's a bit of a worry tbh as Jags is past it, I hope Keane isn't the only CB coming in as ideally Williams and Mori should be squad players and Jags out the door with Keane and another CB being our new pairing for the future.

He's usually not bad tbf...

I'm with you, I'm not so sure about him being Lukaku's replacement but he's of the mould of what Koeman likes in a CF, a target man that links the play, holds the ball and he is pretty decent in the air aswell. He seems built for the premier league but if that's who Koeman wants to compete with Lukaku, or even be his replacement, then I trust his, and Walsh's judgement.

Pelle just about broke into double figures a season in goals for Koeman at Southampton but it's what he brought to the team as a target man that made the biggest difference for them and maybe this is what he sees in Willian Jose?!

I think Koeman is just saying that though tbh, maybe out of respect to Jags, but he talks about us possibly being in Europe and needing a bigger squad and he says by the end of the window we will have!

Also in the same article were interested in Maguire and van Dijk....

Shouldnt you be kicking off at Koeman tapping up a player from another team.

What was it yesterday you were saying about the media and Drogba???

So apparently closing in on this Brazilian striker, been in negotiations (although it appears missing out) on the Shalke left back, Pickford is a "priority" and also strongly linked with Keane, Sigurdsson and Rooney.

We're still in April so at least it looks like we're doing the spade work early! Hopefully lessons have been learned and it looks like a very busy and interesting summer ahead.

Have a feeling the starting line up next August could look very different to the one that finishes this season..

Europe will still give us more of a chance than we did last summer, throw in new ground plans etc etc
 

I've seen a few people on Twitter already complaining that Willian Jose's 'only scored 10 league goals this season so he's not good enough'. It's worth noting that he's scored 10 in 22 in La Liga for Sociedad having missed a couple of months through injury.
