Im pretty sure any player we sign this summer wont be on the basis of playing in a potential new stadium in 4-5 years.

Just read Real Madrid took him on loan a couple of years ago with an option to buy. Played once under Mourinho and 6 times under Ancelotti.

He was only what, 21 at this point? Must be highly rated.

It's disrespectful but he's the manager and generally managers rightly or wrongly when asked about players come out and give an answer. What I can't stand is the media pulling ex players and pundits out talking the move, Drogba has no business talking Rom up, he doesn't make the signings at Chelsea. I had the same opinion regarding Stones with Cahill and Terry tapping him up, which angered me much more than Mourinho who's hammered with questions every press conference and simply gave an answer.

Apparently Im accusing people of playing FIFA according to @The Rhino

A very strong side- we can sign some astute players on Free's to bolster the squad and use the Lukaku money to bring in 2-3 big price tag players.

That's the market now, any striker is going to cost us £25-30 million minimum even a Benteke or Batshuyai. I just think Dembele could be Another Van Dijk/Wanayama and don't want us to miss out.

Van Dijk to be fair is probably one of the leagues best CB's and still only 24/25. Him and Keane and we'll be rock solid at the back and will allow us to push the midfield on a bit as thats what we will need as we won't have Lukaku to smash 20-25 in a season in for us.

No way in hell Dembele will cost £50 million mate. No SPL club will turn down £30 million they simply couldn't afford too.

But we are not a Man City or Chelsea who can afford to turn our nose up at £40/50 million. We also have about 6-7 good signings needed this summer who will all cost a fair whack and a new Stadium that's currently being in the process of being funded.

It would be absolutely daft to keep Rom an extra year on the slim hope of a top 4 finish. Even more so if we lose Ross on the cheap this season if he does go. £30 million for Ross and £40 Million for Rom would total £70 million, we could probably get £50 million for Ross if he had more than 1 year on his deal and about £80 million for Rom. That's £60 million lost that's alot of money mate for a club like ours. This is business not FIFA 17

I'll be waiting a while as the media don't give a damn unless it's helping the top 4/6 clubs tap up the leagues best players, then you'll see Thommo, Carra, Henry, Drogba, Redknapp, Hordle, Terry etc. Come out and give their reasoning on why moving to Liverpool/Chelsea/Utd is great for their careers etc

Not hurt at all, ive no issue with the media talking about our players. You do have issues, but at the same time its ok for Koeman to talk about signing players from opponents.
