Never know until the seasons well under way mate ;)

But 4 of the 'top 7' have effectively lost or could lose their top scorers from last season. (United, Arsenal, Chelsea, us)

2 of the top 4 have gone from a 45 game season last year - to a potential 55-60 game seasons this year

4 of the top 6 managers are gonna face HUGE pressure this season if they aren't competing at the top by Christmas (City, united, the rs and Arsenal)

Spurs will have a good chance of dropping off massively this year, stagnating squad and Wembley
rs and Chelsea had paper thin first team squads and have done little to strengthen them, those Extra European games will be killers, especially for the rs with their system of pressing.

the 3 at the back which saw Chelsea run away with the league isn't gonna be a surprise for any team anymore, similarly everyone knows how to counter the rs and their system.

Mourinho has finished 15th (when sacked) and 6th with Chelsea and United, manager on decline - good cup manager still though.

Lots of unpredictability in the new season i reckon.

I think we need to look at ourselves first...

Baines and Williams are massive weak links
Holgate/Kenny need to play instead of Cuco
Koeman needs to find a formula to our attack
Players need selling or there will be disharmony

Seems like a really needlessly complicated and bizarre thing for a club as rich as Man City to do for the sake of about £10m, but ok.

On one level I agree, on another, its pretty much a face saving exercise if the lad turns into a £70m rated superstar. Barca did similar with Gerry and us didnt they? (Mind you, that contract/deal was bewildering to me).

Baines and Williams aren't weak links, particularly Baines. We do need cover for him though.

Over the last two league seasons:

Iheagoalo: 107
Kane: 134
Giroud: 134 also
Lukaku: 157
Long: 258
Niasse: 309

Pls to be revising your dodgy opinion, my work here is done, thanking you
Why are you changing the goal post mein frandel? I said last year duh :hayee:

Real Madrid did it with Morata too, the difference is that Morata genuinely wanted to go back there and they actually did play him for a season before selling him on for a £40m profit. They didn't buy him back just to sell him, he was an important part of the first team.
