It wouldn't necessarily be as a winger. If we sign another CF then someone will have to adjust in some way.Sandro won't play wide much for us
Lad he isn't an out and out target man lol one clip of him having a good first touch doesn't change that.
He's quite good at holding the ball though and bringing others into play. Intelligent player.
Doesn't have to be Pelle mrk.II you know mate?

There's Klassen to fit in as well.I think that you are probably right and that is why I didn't want him here. Out of Sandro, Sigurdsson and Giroud (or some other target man) who gets dropped to accomodate Rooney? I'm personally not sure how all the pieces are going to fit together. Better to have the problem of too many players than too few but no one should be guaranteed a starting role and that is my worry.
It'll be interesting to see how things pan out.Not really
In the majority of cases I would expect it'll be a case of either Sandro or Giroud (or whoever we sign as the other striker). At Southampton Koeman had Pelle and Long - they didn't often start together, but both got plenty of games and thrived under him
Sandro I see more as the Shane Long equivalent here (hopefully a significant upgrade) and Giroud being the Pelle equivalent
Don't Think we need to shoehorn all of our attacking players into the side - although there may be occasions where we play with a front 2 and they play together

'Lad'? How do you know?
And:
Mate?
I think Sandro will start a c/f with rooney off him,my worry is a total lack of pace.
Agree about Dembele but Celtic still in champions league unfortunately so won't get him till after next round. This is a really good post, I just don't think Mr Koeman is this rigid in his views - I don't think he can afford to be.
In other words, if there is someone who isn't just a target man but isn't rapid and sits on the shoulder, instead he brings others into play I think he'd go for it.
I just think Dembele at Celtic is that very man. Scores goal. Quick. Intelligent. Young. Probs get him for £30m maybe?

Ajax however got knocked out so could go and try for Dolberg as they may be more receptive?
In what meaning of the word is McGeady considered a wingerInstead we're shipping out Deulofeu, McGeady and now Lennon. Makes you wonder whether Koeman has got something against wingers ...
He's not Giroud or Benteke, correct. He's still not a target man like the one's we seem to be chasing; that's just plain to see.
