Perhaps take my comment with a pinch of salt then, because i do agree with your comments. But what i'm saying is that if this is the standard of strike force our nearest rivals (technically speaking, going from last season) have; it is pretty evident where we need to strengthen

Uniteds squad underperformed massively last season
First season with a new manager and Van Gaal had left a mess behind him
Players did not suit Jose style of play and Pogba took a while to settle
IMO United are nailed on top 3 this season.

Whatever we are going to do we better do it quick....it,s time to move on to the back up list and we need to be flexible. When I say flexible, I mean we better be prepared to rethink our transfer strategy approach when the blindingly obvious is taking place on the pitch.
