Walsh still not sealed any deals that the previous regime couldn't have done. Not much different this summer. Lack of planning and nous from the Board and SW. His job is to find players and striker is clearly our glaring weakness.

This is fundamental.

Paying over the odds for established players at mediocre PL and euro clubs has been the hallmark of this summer's activities.

I honestly wished we'd gone for Overmaars or some other quality control type general manager to give this club some coherence.

We are all over the place it seems and we need a strong character to impose order over the playing side. It looks an uncoordinated shambles right now.

More itk rubbish...if we sign a player from the Netherlands I can guarantee you that the player will be travelling to us and not the other way around. Only exception when players are on international tournaments.

..it seems to me that prices have gone up rather than clubs paying over the odds. You criticise that we don't spend enough, you criticise we pay too much. Pickford, Keane and Klaassen are the £25m+ signings to date, two of those already look money well spent.

If we'd not spent the money on those players we wouldn't have them here, presume you'd prefer us to have paid less for different players. Sandro for £5m seems ok.
