I was super excited when we were making deals before the window even opened, but now it just feels like it usually is where nothing will get done and we make a bid for a Sissoko and a loan of a Valencia type... fingers crossed though

In the back of my mind I am ever so slightly concerned that we seemed to do deals when the lukaku deal was being engineered and suddenly stopped after we spent roughly a similar amount. Now siggurdson is delayed for so long knowing full well we are trying to sell Barkley (his predecessor) at the same time, and deadline day is getting closer each day

The last few transfers were always going to be the most difficult; even a few weeks ago on here there was a consensus that getting the established players we want would run into delays because you are entering the player roundabout were it's one off one on for all teams as no one wants to be left without a replacement for a first team player. The transfers will come other teams have to sort out their targets as do the next team in the chain....a little patience.

I suppose the positives are Siggurdsen will not be on the Man U conveyor belt next summer due to his age

exactly this. Sigirdsson will happen and I'm certain we'll sign another striker - i get the impression we were waiting for Giroud but seeing as he's staying at Arsenal we will hopefully move quickly on to option B. It could be a busy couple of weeks with players still likely to leave as well so i wouldn't be surprised to see more come in. Patience is key

Managers aren't always correct mate. Otherwise they wouldn't have basically the highest sack rate of any profession, as for Martina - he is utter rubbish.

Especially when they persevere playing a striker out wide when it obviously doesn't work, and you have a better option (IMO) in Lookman.

I'm genuinely wondering where Koeman will attempt to play Lewin next.
