Sign him Management Team. We can sing and dance our way to the title whilst he bangs in 30 goals.

But seriously though, who are the realistic options for a striker?

If I am not mistaken there are zero solid and credible links to any striker apart from the chase in vain of Le Beard. No? @Connor @BlueToff
You were doing ok there until you got to the 30 goals bit.;)

So now Iceland is set to join we move onto the striker and defender we need. Be nice to get both done before deadline day if we can but gut feeling is we will leave the striker to the last minute.

Has Bony got a new club yet? Might end up with him if we can't get Kalinic.

He'll be back at Swansea next week

Bit of a lazy quote from Kristof.

So it's more nuanced. The thing is the asking price for a direct transfer just went up more, after the deadline. A transfer-loan back is much cheaper.

The high asking price for a direct transfer is understandable, would really put Van Holsbeeck in trouble. Anderlecht isn't playing good atm so he's already on the market for a rb (current ones are injured), he wants Ricardo Pereira from Porto. Plus a new striker since they are all misfiring; 47 shots only one goal.

Wouldn't have thought Anderlecht would have a chance in Hell of signing Ricardo.

Wasn't saying we should just thinking of target men who may be available.

We don't need a target man. We need someone who will hold the ball up, drop deep and involve the three around him. If that striker is good in the air as well, then that's a massive bonus.

Italy Coach Giampiero Ventura has excluded Graziano Pelle from Italy’s next match with Macedonia after the striker refused his handshake when substituted.

The Shandong Luneng forward had issued an apology on instagram, but it appears that this was too little, too late for his veteran Coach.

After starting the World Cup qualifying match with Spain, Pelle was substituted on 59 minutes, but will now miss the next game with Macedonia on Sunday.

The FIGC released a statement to the press, in which they confirmed the decision, and added that Pelle would return to his parent club in China.

"The Coach Gian Piero Ventura, in agreement with the FIGC, has decided to exclude the player Graziano Pellè from the squad for the match against FYR Macedonia this Sunday, October 9 in Skopje, for disrespectful behavior at the time of his substitution during the match yesterday with Spain.

Moving clubs wont help him get back in.
