It was a long time ago and we have spent a LOT since then, still need a striker and a CB, dont know a lot about him, but dont think hes a Striker is he? I know he CAN play there, but think hes more of an Attacker? dunno, just waffling!

Just being optimistic about Costa, if he is indeed bound to Madrid Athletic in January, and doesn't play for Chelsea, is he really going to want to sit out 4-5 months in Brazil? Considering his current age, isn't that going to make getting back in shape when he gets back to Spain really difficult?

If he was here, he'd at least get to play and keep himself fit before his big move

Dembelle is looking more and more like the only option, unfortunately due to Celtic pretty much making CL group stages it is going to make that one difficult.

Yes he would, medicals don't flag immediate but potential future issues (aside from heart issues etc).
