yeah I could see us fighting for 5th/6th with the club's you mentioned if we get a striker in. that being said all 5th would change is not having to do the EL qualifiers, other than that we'd be in the same situation. i just hope we make a serious push for a cup. I'd take 8th-10th for a trophy. hell I'd take 17th and an FA cup

that's true from our perspective, but look at it from girouds. had a good career there (99 goals for arsenal), family settled, won cups, played in CL. yes they're not there this year but it's the first time in absolute ages. He probably thinks they'll get back

Jese was going to be one of big talents but he's an absolute grade A bulb. Booted out of Madrid because he spent more time making music

Sandro will be good just needs a run of games and will start finding the net.

DCL just doesn't have that raw finishing ability for me. I like his movement and he can win a flick on well, but he struggles to get his head up and make the correct decision plus he strikes me as the type who will miss more 1v1s than he scores tbh.

So I would like them to go for either

Dembele - 32 goals in up in Scotland is impressive by any means, quick, skilful and can finish. Only 21 so bags of potential.

Dolberg - 23 goals, has it all really strong, quick, great ball control, can head, can shoot and young

Jorgensen, scored a load last season and seems to have a good finish on him, a real poacher but tall and strong too.

Oh, I am not questioning your more informed critique Zat; all I said was that he looked good in that game vs Arsenal

We won't compete if we don't make the striker signing. It's not negativity, it's realism.

I agree with you mate that we need a striker but imo it has to be a top top striker who is going to make a difference and score us goals pit of nothing or the type who gets one chance and slots. Not sure if any if them are available and if so are we attractive enough yet.

I think we will be able to compete though due to the top signings of Pickford and Keane plus inexpext the following goals in the league from these players

Rooney 10+
Sandro 10+
Klaassen 7
Gylfi 7
DCL 6
Mirallas 6

If it clicks up top there's enough goals in tjere and I think Pickford will certainly win us some points. It may be a case of us grinding out 1-0 wins to get results. I look at Arsenal frontline even without Sanchez and it looks miles better than ours yet they still have days like yesterday where they csnt hit tje bsck of the net. You can only play a certain amount of strikers for any game

perhaps tomorrow will be a good indication of how much we need a striker or are lacking pace because apart from the striker department this really is Ronalds squad now so he s got to blend them together and find the right balance so we can go to the likes of City and pick up points

I've no idea but he doesn't look as talented as dolberg that's for sure
