Troy Deeney is not an Everton player. We are aspirational, why build a strike force around a limited player?Don't see why not, holds the ball up, lays it off, brings others into play, prem experience.

I wanted Giroud massively but sadly someone messed the deal up. We should have had a big name lined up to immediately replace lukaku but again for some reason hadn't that planned. I'd take a Slimani type (not necessarily him specifically) but someone similar if Walsh fancies them. Essential that they can do a job and get at least double figures tho. It's not ideal tbh.
Slimani, Jorgensen, Jimenez.......maybe Willian Jose. Would guess may go in for one of them in a worst case scenario.Surely it'll be Slimani?
Can see us having to make do with the likes of Slimani or Wilfried Bony the longer the search goes on...The replacing of Lukaku has been a bit of a cock up so far hasn't it?
I get that, you are spot on. But, what I'm also considering is he's not up to scratch to bring the best of what we have. I'm not against his dogged style or determination, just feel we can get a player who will be comfortable for us with more possession and have that movement when it comes to breaking teams down. As far as I'm aware he would only suit us playing against teams who have more possession enabling chances. Don't see him as the answer.Because he knows his limits and plays to his strengths. Not fashionable enough for most on here. Yard dog of a centre forward. Knows where the goal is and would bring the other attackers in to the game. If we want a striker then he fits that bill.
Game live on bt sport 1Marc Oliver Kempf. Highly rated left footed center back. Plays for Freiburg
Are you sure? Sanchez comes back, what do they do? Maybe they sell us Welbeck, but who knows
Still like Willian Jose, could deal with Bost, maybe take a flier on Jorgensen from a style standpoint. I've said it before, but I thought he was crap based on highlights. Was very impressed watch a full game.
Wouldn't write DCL off just yet mate but I agree we shouldn't be relying on him as first choice striker. I'd be happy with him as back up though, played in the correct position of course.Sandro will be good just needs a run of games and will start finding the net.
DCL just doesn't have that raw finishing ability for me. I like his movement and he can win a flick on well, but he struggles to get his head up and make the correct decision plus he strikes me as the type who will miss more 1v1s than he scores tbh.
So I would like them to go for either
Dembele - 32 goals in up in Scotland is impressive by any means, quick, skilful and can finish. Only 21 so bags of potential.
Dolberg - 23 goals, has it all really strong, quick, great ball control, can head, can shoot and young
Jorgensen, scored a load last season and seems to have a good finish on him, a real poacher but tall and strong too.
