No, but if he's on the bench again next week vs the [Poor language removed] after that shambles yesterday then surely alarm bells of sorts would be ringing in his head about the lack of game time?! He's said before that he won't accept being on the bench all season and needs to play, especially with a World Cup coming up. And in pre season he said he would think about his future. And I know Wenger as said he gave him the option to leave and he said he'd stay but Wenger as said that Lacazette will mainly be the main man upfront for them so where does that leave Giroud, especially when everyone is fit and available?

I just don't think we've heard the end of it and I think Koeman is thinking the same hence why have we not properly moved on to other targets at this late stage of the window?!

If those doubts are there then of course Yes!!....would be a terrific signing

You might be right about what Koeman wants... but I want headed goals and lots of them.

And with Sigurdsson's delivery and players like Keane with their ability in the air, I'm sure we will....

Yeah definitely. Whether we will or not who knows.

But time wise yes.

I'll be honest though, we've signed way more players than I expected. Way more.

I know where Keita Balde plays which is why I said we would need to play with a 3 and someone like sandro as a false 9

Why would Sandro not play as the 9 though? Did it for Malaga...

Kempf was part of the squad but honestly can't remember him, then again I didn't watch many if the Germany games.

Personally would prefer us to spend big on a partner for Keane...

Hmm, but who? Not a big fan of Gibson. Maguire looks like someone who would of been a good bit of business for us IF we were interested?! Players like Inigo Martinez Ameryic Laporte would be awesome but would they be getable?

I'd like a target man striker, I would, but it's not the be all or end all for us imo. Think we've got goals in us now and in a player like Sigurdsson, from set plays we can get goals from nothing, goals that can get us points even when we're not at the races and that's a big plus to have!

To be honest.. even given the opportunity of a loan deal for Diego Costa I can understand the reluctance among the Everton fans.
But....The possibility of a proven Premier League top striker pushing us up the League Table is something I find appealing....Although probably not a permanent solution.

Let's be honest a fit and motivated Costa would be the stuff of dreams.

Yes it's only on loan until January but we will be 6 points clear at the top by then

I know it is, but Vardy plays that role for Leicester, albeit in a different way but he does. Could we not try and play Sandro in that way at times? I think it would work from time to time, not everytime I know but certain games it would.

What the hell has Walsh been doing all summer?
The biggest signing we knew we needed, we're 5 competitive games into the season and who are we after as a replacement for Rom? Not a clue.

We should of got Bradley Walsh, at least he knows what a chase is.

He drifts wide a lot for me, hes not a true number 9, its in his nature to pull wide, it would take a VERY high degree of training to make him change his style, Rooney is the same, but he drops deeper as the game wears on, we need somebody who leads the line, in the middle, a focal point.
