Unless an ideal candidate presents I think we can get away with rotating England's top goal scorer and the guy who got one in two in la liga last season, with DCL to change things

He drifts wide a lot for me, hes not a true number 9, its in his nature to pull wide, it would take a VERY high degree of training to make him change his style, Rooney is the same, but he drops deeper as the game wears on, we need somebody who leads the line, in the middle, a focal point.

Vardy pulls into the channels a lot. With midfield runners like Klaassen & Sigurdsson it could work as Sandro would pull wide and split the CB's at times or atleast open the defence up and create space.

Sorry mate, but I think we really need a proper option up front, the Split game highlighted this, if we still had Rom we'd have won that game by 4 or 5. As much as I am enjoying seeing us add quality I am worried that we won't have enough up front, 'pop-gun' as someone once said.

Yeah, he's not a 9 at all despite his number. Like him, but not a target guy.

We know he's not a target man but the point is why can't he be trusted to play through the middle in the "No.9" position? Why play him as a false 9 or wide forward? Think it would be a waste personally. He may not have the stature to play the target man role be he can play as the main man up front. Different league I know but it's not a shabby league isn't La Liga where he played as the lone striker for Malaga!.....

I pray for a sweet, sweet embargo ce soir

Losing Rom won't be so bad if we replace him with a target man who can chip in. If not we will look at United every week and Rom banging them in with a bit of envy.

I won't. Not our player anymore, not our concern. He's moved on and so have we. I like the business we've done and were better for it. To say we're still gelling and getting to know each other's games, with a couple more players to come into the mix, the first half vs Split was really encouraging imo. We were good and assured on the ball and played with a real tempo and had plenty of movement with plenty of balls into the box creating opportunities to score and if that's a little sign of things to come from us then that excites me for this season!

To get in a main man up front would be great but if we don't then so be it, but I honestly think we will be fine until atleast January where we will try again to improve and get the players in that's needed.
