Because we have several guys that can play that position. Sandro also is just as likely to play on the wing as an inside forward. He also did so at times for Malaga. We literally have no #9. With Siggys free kicks this is even more important.

And who are these "several guys" you talk about that can fill the No.9 role for us, play as the main striker?!

Heres a video of him from last season. Some excellent headed goals. Can't say I've ever noticed him and I'm sure some have watched him a few times so will have a better opinion.

Standard is being quite unfriendly towards him. At first they would allow him to leave, but then they started to doubt etc.

Then this new trainer came in; and he hardly uses him etc. Essentially not the best of situations. Has hardly played so far.

I would have been happy taking a punt on him last January. Shame to hear he's not getting any time.

At least this Jose looks to have some ability and performed well last season in a mediocre side. He's a good age and to be perfectly honest, probably the best we could get this late in the window.

He looks like the Kalinic, Giroud, Dzecko type of frontman watching those videos finish wise. Not sure if his hold up play is any good or he has a crap attitude etc but not a bad return that last season.

Jose, Dost, Giroud, Jorgensen, Dzeko, Kalinic, there's like 20 on this thread. Look, Sandro is a great young talent, but you don't think we don't NEED a target guy? Even if you don't, Koeman does. Seriously, how many teams DON'T have one?
