Because we have several guys that can play that position. Sandro also is just as likely to play on the wing as an inside forward. He also did so at times for Malaga. We literally have no #9. With Siggys free kicks this is even more important.

This is what you said to me. Doesn't mention anything about targets, just that WE have several guys that can play that position. I know what targets were after and what Koeman wants.

And if you read my posts better you would see I say that we need a target man but I'm asking, well, making the point that we can use Sandro through the middle as a different type of No.9 IF we don't get a target man in. If we get one in then I fully get that Koeman may use him as a wide forward in a front 3, I know that. But I was just making a point to someone that we can play Sandro through the middle...

Jose, Dost, Giroud, Jorgensen, Dzeko, Kalinic, there's like 20 on this thread. Look, Sandro is a great young talent, but you don't think we don't NEED a target guy? Even if you don't, Koeman does. Seriously, how many teams DON'T have one?

Like I say in a recent post to you, I've said all along we need one and that Koeman wants one, I've never said we don't need one. All I'm saying is that if we don't get one, Sandro can be used through the middle...

Heres a video of him from last season. Some excellent headed goals. Can't say I've ever noticed him and I'm sure some have watched him a few times so will have a better opinion.

Gettin a player in for 4 months is ridiculous. No matter who he is. It's small time mentality.

Not really mate. Gives us a chance to scout for more time, and get a proper target man. It allows DCL to develop. It keeps us from over-spending on tosh. And he's Prem-proven, and will only do well here.

You can think of him as a temporary option while we look for long term ones.
