Which would be?
I'm hoping a consortium and/or a wealthy investor have been lined up to take their shares.

The structure of our ownership is curious, to say the least.

Kenwright and Woods don't have anywhere near the finances required anymore. They serve no purpose in the modern game (they haven't for about 12 years), so I think they're being kept around for a reason.

It can attract a vast amount of players David, exposure and bigger off field deals for the players, its a massive draw.

But hey, dont take my word for it.

However, the former Ajax man says he would have thought twice about joining Tottenham if they had missed out on a European spot two years ago.

“I’d rather play in Europe than nothing,” said the Danish midfielder. “Of course there are many games but if you have a big squad like we have I think it shouldn’t be a disappointment to play in Europe. A lot of players want to be in Europe.

“Is it a factor when it comes to signing players? I think so, it would be for me personally. I don’t know if it is for anybody else but I think so. Of course that will probably help the team and the club as well [if we qualify].
tbf, I think Eriksen's opinions don't carry much weight when compared to those of our David's. The former has nowhere near the experience of the latter in such matters.

Charlie austin anyone? would do a job this year as a stop gap until we get a true world class cf and would probably cost under 20m, which although mad, is cheap in this market

Dave saying DCL isn't a talented lad now?

Further evidence that he hasn't watched a single Everton game since Martinez left.

In all seriousness though, DCL has a lot of quality attributes but above all he is a grafter.

Yeh, maybe not the most naturally gifted of players but he's deceptively quick, good in the air, has an excellent first touch and a bit of nous about him.

He's 20 and before last season had a handful of League One appearances to his name.

why we don't just bid for Giroud is beyond me. Arsenal are happpy for him to leave, Wengers confirmed that. Get Giroud and his people around the table and sell the project to them. This isn't the sort of deal that can be done on transfer deadline day.

Rather than sitting around the table just pay the local gangsters to run him out of town like the Liverpool gangsters did to ROSS

Oh wait that didn't work either.

I don't know what we can do if he says no he wants to stay at Arsenal

If we had waited till Rom was gone we'd have been bent over with the 90 m in our pocket.
We got the deals done early.
If we'd have tried to get Roms replacement in early then the selling club would have asked why do they want a striker when they have Rom.
Then the penny would have dropped and it would have been
They are going to get 90 m for Rom let's bend them over
Club went about our buisness the right way imo except Swansea renegaed on the agreed price.
Before we sold Rom we may been given encouragement that Giroud would be available and things changed.
We may still be in for him.
The money is there it's just a matter of the right player being available

Good assessment mate, one thing that does baffle me a little is that Koulibaly bid. Didn't we confirm we bid for him? That transfer stands out, it would have been a massive statement and I think people then set their expectations at that level of transfer. Sigurdson was big but £60 million for a centre back just before prices went absolutely insane was huge. We don't seem to (publicly at least) have gone in for that level of transfer since. And seeing as possibly we seem to be leaking stuff to sky to build a better media relationship if we had I'd have thought they would have been leaked. I'm very happy with our business so far and I would be made up with a good centre forward and left sided defender but I won't be heart broken if we don't. We've come a long way in 18 months, that transfer still seems a little strange though

Maybe Mosh had a rush of blood to the head and wanted to make a big statement last summer.
Perhaps now Koeman has had the squad for a season they can take a more measured approach to the transfers.
ROSS getting injured may have affected our plans as that's 35/40 m out of the budget.
So whereas we thought we had 80 m to spend on a striker and CB now we only have 40 m
Just one scenario.

If he never develops into a great finisher or improves his dribbling, these traits will keep him in the league. He not only projects as a target man, but a significant counter attacking threat as well. Not many players have both of these qualities.

TBH I never rated him at all last season, this year he seems to have come on leaps and bounds. Saying that I never rated Harry Kane when he used to play for England U 21's, so I'm a great judge of a young player.
