Expecting two signings
I think were going to be spending BIG but need to ship out some players first to free up places and cash

For the most part this summer we've had to sell to buy, losing our best player in the process.
I hate to do a Dave, but our net spend is only £40million.
When fully fit the attacking 3 will beHe's spent enough money to not have to go with that setup today.
Big fan of RonKoe, but out lack of pace and shape is very worrying. When fully fit Klassen, Rooney, Sigurdsson and Barkley will all be vying for one position. The rest will be played out of position. Even if Barkley goes, we need a winger/2, centre forward and a centre-half.

Siggy left
Klassen centre
Rooney Right
The only position Barkley will be competing for is on Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenals bench
BehaveIf we don't manage to sign another striker could be a good opportunity for Niasse to get back in the fold - 4 goals for Hull including vs Liverpool and Man Utd - I don't think we've seen the best of him yet!
Yes, no one is allowed to attack with width from fullbacks. That is illegal. We have to play wings. We are also not permitted to play with inside forwards.Siggy and Rooney on the wings would be terrible, both far too slow. Teams could camp in our half with no threat of a counter attack.
I don't think we can argue with a 40m net spend especially wen you consider the money spent in Jan. In my eyes we have wasted money. Klassen offers us nothing so should not have been bought and although he has had a decent start Rooney is a massive investment in wages. We have also had to overspend on Gilfi.
My fears about are squad are starting to be realised. We are so one paced. When we played against top sides in the last couple of years and we were out of possession Rom and Ross with his drive gave us a threat on the counter. The current team has nothing so these teams can commit more and more men forward without any fear of us being able to break. We are completely 1 dimensional.
The money invested in Klassen and Rooney should have been spent on pacier/dynamic attacking players.
And your point is?For the most part this summer we've had to sell to buy, losing our best player in the process.
