Summer Transfer Window 2017

.....with just 3 days and 16 hours of the window to get any transfer business done, here's what's in the papers this Monday morning;

- Ronald Koeman says Kevin Mirallas has been omitted from the Everton squad at Chelsea because of an attitude problem but Belgian outlet, Het Latste Nieuws, report the Toffees are currently unwilling to let the player leave on a permanent or loan deal. Greek giants, Olympiacos, have approached Everton about a loan signing for the winger.

- In his post-match interview last night, Koeman said: "We need at least 2 more players. A striker is most important". When asked about Diego Costa, the Toffees boss was coy; "I don't know (about Costa). We are looking at players who are available and if we sign somebody, it is somebody who makes the team better".

- Koeman is also reported to have said Ross Barkley is unlikely to join Spurs or Chelsea in the final days of the window because Everton have received no offers.

- According to Portugese newspaper, A Bola, Everton had a scout in attendance to watch forward Raul Jimenez in Benfica's recent 1-1 draw with Rio Ave. Jimenez only came off the bench with 15mins to go.

- The Daily Mail report Everton have slapped an £8m price tag on striker Oumar Niasse amidst interest from Brighton.

- Anderlecht President has told DK News that he would let Everton target Leander Dendoncker leave if an offer of £18m is received.

- NinetyMinutesonLine say Everton and West Brom are preparing an offer for Watford striker, Troy Deeney.

- The Daily Mirror suggest Everton are looking to hijack Chelsea's £40m move for Leicester striker Jamie Vardy.
£18m Leander Dendoncker seems cheap worth a punt

How the hell are we in this position scrambling around for a striker with a few days remaining of the window .it was small club mentality to let Rom go without a replacement we should have held all the cards on this one ,two years left on his contract .did we need the money in first to buy players who knows.yes we might pluck a gem from somewhere but the alternative is panic buy or loan like Valencia
