We all think it; we're just not wanting to believe it. Because no Evertonian actively wants Moshiri to be a massive fraud.

Dunno if you can call Morshiri a massive fraud as we have spent some money this window and previous ones once he was here.

Whether we spent the money well is another discussion though but it feels like some people are willing him to fail just to say ' look fraud..I told you so'

Siggurdson statistically for the past few seasons has been just as productive as similar 'elite players in that position. If we were signing Silva, Mata, fabregas, couthino, eriksen etc for a similar amount for similar output would that be overpaying?

Klassen was the captain of a Europa league finalist team at 24, title winning captain as well. International footballer, goals and assists, and Johnny Evans will cost more than him. Is Johnny Evans better at football than klassen?

Sandro cost nothing in today's market so was worth a punt.

The jury is well truly out on Klassen suitability to this league based on preseason. We can't write the lad off after a handful of games but it looking ominous.

Siggurdson is a good player but to compare to some of the names you have listed is OTT. If memory serves most of his assist are coming from dead balls rather than open play. We don't have players that are as good as the likes of Coutinho, Silva, Eriksen at making something happen in open play. This is why I would have opted for Mahrez rather than Gilfi (safe option)

Jimenez isn't shocking.

Lad definitely has a lot of talent.

His consistency has been the issue at Benfica.

Not my first choice, and I said on here earlier in the summer I wouldn't want us going anywhere near him for a mental fee.

But if it's £25m (I know, that is mental, but relatively speaking), he's a type of player we definitely don't have atm.

Think it's clear who the manager wants/wanted. I think we've left it late in the hope of getting Giroud in.

The risk was we left it too late. Jimenez was linked earlier in the summer and we had scouts at a lot of Benfica games last year.

To me that suggests he's been on our list of targets for a while.

Klassen looks terrible to fans because our team has played crap football in general. Klassen is one of those players that looks much better when the team does.

He's all but confirmed that the player he's been on about for days now was Werner. Gonna look a complete mug if it turns out there was no actual interest in the first place.

I just cant see it mate. Name me 1 high profile transfer for a young international that not a single media outlet has had a sniff of.
Not even any jarg rumour mills have gone on it, someone would of if there was any truth in it.

Plus with all respect to us, if werner became availible, bigger clubs than us would be scrambling to get hold of him
