Did anything ever come off that link to Brazilian 'wonderkid' Caio Emerson?

Can't sign until the end of the month when he turns 18.

Not convinced it is anything more than agent talk but his agent does say it will happen.

We are also apparently scouting a 17 year old Lens player N'sana Simon.

If we want to have a go at winning trophies we will need more than just Barkley.

Look at the squad depth of the current CL aspiring sides. Tielemans could fit in no problem.

I agree he would fit in, just think it's nothing but rumours we haven't been linked with him as far as I'm aware other than a paper quoting someone saying he should join a club that will give him game time, with said paper mentioning our name.

Is he though? Those rumours seem to of died down of late. And it's a move that wouldn't make sense to me, leaving Roma for Inter at this point.

Well it's been reported from a number of sources. I wouldn't say it was a weird choice; Inter have huge backing now, they'll be back challenging again in the next year or two I'd imagine. Roma will always be just short in my opinion till their new stadium gets built.

Dont see the attraction of the boy Keane myself.

All decent players, would have been amazing signings for us about 6 years ago.

This. The only player on there I'd take as a 'Mata' type player is Mata himself. We need to stop thinking about buying players from Lidl, to dine at the top table we need players from Waitrose.

Someone on here actually wanted Antonio from West Ham ffs. We seem to have a massive inferiority complex with regards to players and that mindset needs breaking. Why go for Michael Keane when we could go back in for Koulibally or try for VVD?
