Well it's been reported from a number of sources. I wouldn't say it was a weird choice; Inter have huge backing now, they'll be back challenging again in the next year or two I'd imagine. Roma will always be just short in my opinion till their new stadium gets built.

Inter do have investment but have a big squad and struggled to offload players to be able to bring others in this season. And I don't think they'll be a quick fix either, their not the force they once were. And Roma always seem to get by alright and be in and around the CL spots and are currently on the tails of Juve in Serie A so not doing too bad.

But he will put a shift in and help, and with both Schneiderlin & Gueye behind him he'd be free to get forward and help make things happen in the final third.

Don't want Forster at all, think he looks wooden a lot of the time and heavy footed. Doesn't help having the worst starting CB in the league in front of you though.

Also would people rather have Maguire, Gibson or Keane if given the choice?

Gabbiadini looking like a missed opportunity now, but we still need to refresh the backline first. We should be looking for a long-term Baines replacement as well as two long term CB's (one of our young players might be ready to step up soon). If we decide to part ways with Gerry, we need to get a replacement (hopefully one that is ready for the physicality of the league). It would be wise to look for a Lukaku striking partner (or replacement if it comes to that). If we do sell Lukaku, he will easily fund whatever we need. We just need to be wise about whoever we bring in.

Shaw

Keane

Van Dijk

Tielemans

Sigurdsson

Inaki Williams

Dream window for me at this point but no clue where we'll get all those funds from never mind spend them without surely violating FFP regulations.

The defence though has to be the number 1 priority. We've got a world class striker, CL-quality midfield, average wingers but a Championship-level defence.

Keane (CB) is a must, although Koeman is good at promoting youth so if someoen were to emerge this would be a secondary signing.

A German GK would be nice- one is definitely needed but Joel shouldn't be dismissed. He's proven people wrong before.

A backup Striker to Rom is a must.

Our midfield is looking good, would sell McCarthy and buy Tielemans. Other than that we've got some very promising youth (Dowell comes to mind first).

As for wingers/2nd strikers, I feel as though Mirallas just isn't good enough. Del will come back and will be much improved however. This is also something I feel we need to address.

A new LB is also a must. Baines doesn't have many years left in him, and we will most probably have Europa at the very least next year.
