Yes, but I think that is why big Ron is hard after Sandro. 50m is a lot for a defender, but getting 2 quality, starting caliber players - one who defends and one who attacks - for 55-60m...that would be reasonable in today's market.

I doubt we will get VVD, but I think we will try.

Those 3 together in theory replace Roms goals and we'll have funds left over to invest in other positions. Yippie!

That front 3 would get at most 20 goals over the whole season. Valencia is utter muck. I like his attitude but he has zero quality. DCL is still raw, Rooney no pace to be our main striker.

We should go for Gimenez, Koulibaly, VVD and Sanchez all simultaneously...one or two others also.

Offer the asking price straight away and offer top wages within our structure and see what happens.
