Reading on sky app that Swansea don't need to sell nor does Sigurdsson want to move. All speculative however, if the player doesn't want the move to a bigger club then Everton need to move on quickly and assess other targets. The club should be aiming for players who want the move and want to win trophies at Everton.
Go after Davy Klaassen. I love Gylfi, but he doesn't want to come then we should move on.

Klaassen offers less out wide, but can play anywhere centrally and has a great motor and nose for goal. He is a quality player.

If we really are bringing Rooney back (not sure how i feel there) then Klaassen is a good add for depth.

Problem it seems is that £100k a week seems to be the norm.

Jermaine Defoe signed for Bournemouth apparently on £100k a week.

Up in the air if Barkley is wanting the same amount from us.

It's gonna be a tricky game. Either high fees or high wages.

Onyekuru will be a bit disappointed I reckon. He didn't get top-scorer, he didn't even get best young player of the year. That award was won by the "New Benteke" (totally different player but okay if they want to use that name) Dimata. Dimata has a transfer to Wolfsburg lined up but it won't finalize if Wolfsburg go down.

It's the 23rd of May 2017, almost the 24th.

Come the 24th June I predict no major new signings and the fume levels up to maximum.

It's the same year in year out.

You're wrong mate. We had the game-changing media exposure of Everton Day on Sky Sports News where we got to marvel at Jamie Carragher in an Everton training top. A brave new world, in a brave new world.

he'll be playing in the Scottish championship within 2 years.
Not sure about that, but i'd swerve him on the basis that we haven't seen enough of him to have informed opinion. With Rom, we had a year to appraise him.
Just too risky for me overall (unless he was around 5 to 7 mio pounds... I might have a punt there)
