Sorry mate didnt see the other one you listed. Dont know much about him but had a look at his stats and he seems another young striker with potential if im right in that assumption?

My only issue is again we seem obsessed with signing players 20/21 who have okay stats but nothing that screams future elite player and for me those types of signings should be given time to develop not thrown in the deep end where they need to give instant results.

People slate DCL (including myself) but he shouldn't have the responsibility of being the clubs leading striker - that's the failure of the board/recruitment in not bringing in a proper striker whilst DCL has time/less pressure on him to devleop his game.

Wolves - Jimenez
Leicester - Vardy
Bournemouth- Wilson
West Ham - Arnautovic (plus whoever they sign)

They are clubs outside the top 6 who we aspire to be pushing away from - yet how can we do this comfortably enough without a proper centre forward.

Same way as for me you can't win a trophy without someone who is able to bury the often limited chances in the big games - if we went into the season as weak up front as last season all optimism of actually for once achieving something goes out the window for me - its easily our biggest weakness on the pitch right now imo.
Quite, we need two new forwards with clinical finishing. Niasse will go and Tosun will be limited by injury and then shipped off. We need two.

Zouma
Gomes
Quality RB
Sosa
Gaich
ST (Mateta?)

Bring back Henry, Holgate & Vlasic possibly.

Would be people feel that is a successful window if it shut after that?
Not enough in midfield? (I can't see Sosa going straight into the first team) We need another option there. That being said I would take that because I only see us bringing in four or five this summer. I'd be shocked if one of them wasn't a left footed winger who plays on the right too.

Proper confused what people's obsession is with forcing our way into the Top 6 next season like if we don't the club will implode.

Spurs didn't do it overnight, why do we apparently have to?
The think is, we really need to to get close to that top 6 next season or maybe get in it. To keep the likes of Digne & Richarlison happy. I think there is a big opportunity this season to challenge the top6/4.

The reason I also put 4 in Is because i believe the goal posts have moved from previous seasons, under moyes and matlrtinez it was really only 4th place available, now 3rd & 4th is available imo. Also With 6/7 games to go last season 4 teams had a chance of 3rd and 4th. With the way city & Liverpool have kicked on and the middle group of teams have improved. It has bought Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and spurs a bit closer to the pack. Which will be even closer next season.

With Arsenal not having much money and there defence & midfield looking average, will Aubaymayng & Ozil be up for more Thursday/Sunday football. Chelsea obviously have the potential ban and A couple of their best youngsters injured. Pedro, Willian and giroud past their best. Utd will make loads of signings, but will it click and I can’t see ole being there after Christmas. Spurs will lose players, will depend on their recruitment, but you would have them as favourites for 3rd

A lot of ifs, buts and maybes I know, but if we target some real quality players I think we could do really well. And if you are in the mix for the top 6 With 7/8 games to go there’s a good chance we will be in mix for top 4.

So they finished 11th, we finished 8th under Silva, they finished 8th after that, we finish ???

Again, why is next season MUST FINISH TOP 6 WHICH IS NOW HARDER THAN EVER
Well you’re just making it worse for yourself really. Harry redknapp took over when they were pretty much bottom of the league and got them 8th that year then into the top 6 the season after where they’ve remained ever since. So if we’re just talking about a specific manager then yes it was effectively overnight.

I’m a fan of silva so I’m not saying top 6 or he has to go. Nobody really means we MUST finish top 6 or else I don’t think, But is it really being unreasonable to talk about it as a major target? Talking about it as if fans are being outrageous for suggesting it’s quite important that we actually start finishing higher in the league at some point seems a bit unfair to me. We’ve had calls for patience for 30 odd years, at some point you start to get a bit restless, it’s natural.

The moment he speaks out to say ANYTHING, it weakens his position in any negotiations.

He says he's not interested in X - then Y becomes more expensive.
He's keen to sign A - then A suddenly becomes more expensive.

Public declarations of interest are exactly what the agents and selling clubs want...

The most important part of any negotiation is remaining silent and waiting for the other party to speak.
I’d completely argue that if he said the Gonalons rumor was complete crap that Sosa’s price would go up.

I’m not saying he says “we want Sosa as our starting CDM” that’s stupid but just because you say 4 rumors aren’t true (let’s say like Che Adams, Tampax, Rondon, and Dzeko) doesn’t mean Gaich’s price will skyrocket. We could just as easily walk away for him if the price is too high and Brands always says right player at the right price.

I don't know, did he? i hear from the dutch end we have approached Ajax a few times recently about the player. Wait and see i guess, we seem to be getting linked with a lot of players at the moment.
And most are known players that want away from their current club that appear to have limited options especially in the Prem
