Spurs and Leicester’s midfields are going to be something else next season.

Still think we need another CM, seen that Kessie is having a great AFCON

I remember when Spurs bought Capoue Paulinho and Dembele and everyone thought they were going to have the league’s best midfield then it couldn’t pass a ball to each other and Pochettino integrated Dier and Alli instead.

I agree with you though that we need some new faces in midfield.

Seeing as Sandro on the verge of leaving (not at Finch Farm for pre season training)

Is it safe to assume the rest of the deadbeats that were'nt there , Bolasie , Niasse , Tosun , Besic et al are also close to leaving the club ?

I think Walsh gets a bad press to be honest, i think i he really had an eye for a player and im not wholly disappointed with what he brought in i put more of our signing madness down to Koeman and when you look at some of our transfers they smack of back scathing with some of Koemans old associates. Walsh was mild mannered, Koeman arrogant and stubborn it was a poor relationship and in the end i think everyone got someone including Bill, but with Zero congruence.

I think Walsh's recruitment will yield profit over all, not so Koemans, Walsh was also very good at shifting players out for fees in my opinion and getting rid of dead wood.

Id put Sandro down as Walsh buy though, he got that one wrong, still i wouldn't be surprised if the lad goes on to have a good career elsewhere.
I cant see us making any profit on Walsh's dealings meself. He was a disaster in my eyes. Pickford, Keane, Gueye and Lookman will generate money but Klassen, Rooney, Siggurdson (as much as I rate him), Bolasie, Sandro, Scneiderlin, Wallcott, Tosun and more I probably cant remember off the top of my head have cost the club hundreds of millions in terms of transfers and wages. He must be the most expensive mistake we have ever made.

I have seen N’Dombelle a number of times and his passing between the lines to start counter attacks is something else.

Just Gana is great and Gomes is great just want shut of MS and McCarthy and get in someone who can offer something that Gana and Gomes don’t offer.

To be fair there has been the odd time over the years we may/could have done it,but we messed up ourselves when others went on bad runs for ages, but again if we miss out on top 6 as i said yesterday or the day before, people will say we missed our chance again,i have actually predicted 6th myself for the 1st time in a very long time

Bit early for predictions for me, will have to see how this window turns out.

Bolasie is at African nations and tosun is injured. Not sure on the others

If this kid gets a work permit then the FA just hates Everton.
