Bolasie pre injury wasn’t as bad as most make out. Him and Lukaku presented the only danger we showed in the season prior to him getting knackered. That injury finished him.

Maybe not. But Bernard he wasn't, never mind "easily more effective than him"

Bolasie, at his best, was a player who was very unpredictable and very occasionally he did something brilliant. It frustrated me that he always wanted the ball to feet and the number of times he slowed us down on the counter was so annoying. He was anything but a team player and it must have been nigh on impossible for team mates to second guess what he was going to do next. On his day though, there is no denying he could be very dangerous.

To compare his effectiveness to Bernard though is beyond a joke. Bernard is the ultimate team player and it's a pleasure to have players with the technical ability of him Siggy and Gomes wearing the blue of Everton again.

He might be back with us. He might also have been given extra time off. I think turkey had some games this summer where he picked up his injury?

Wasn’t long ago they were signing a massive star every summer like Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazette, Aubemayang.

Now they’ve lost Ramsey as they wouldn’t pay him what they wanted and are looking at kids and freebies. They’re turning into us under Moyes.

...I doubt there’s any bias in these matters, otherwise other clubs could simply use this as evidence to get their own permits.

Even if there was “you gave them one nerrr” isn’t really sufficient evidence to stake an argument.

I remember when Spurs bought Capoue Paulinho and Dembele and everyone thought they were going to have the league’s best midfield then it couldn’t pass a ball to each other and Pochettino integrated Dier and Alli instead.

I agree with you though that we need some new faces in midfield.

Spurs and Leicester are next level...Dendoncker came through. I think he was spurred on by Goat teasing me about him...or he may have just been a good player all along lol

The one good thing for us is that the players in the middle all know each other and are settled. I do think we need one more top player to come in...were a bit light.
