I honestly don't know
Something to do with wages crossed with transfer fees to work out exactly how much a player costs the club?
Luke Garbutt. The new McAleny
Just go and enjoy footy somewhere else and make a career lad
Yep. It got written in an article once and suddenly everyone was all over it as if it's the most important thing in the world. Some people seem to genuinely think that showing a profit in a years accounts is better than actually making a profit, and having more money in your bank account. It's mental. How much a player’s fee costs each year on the accounting records. It has some impact with STCC and FFP, but its impact is overstated. A good accountant is like a good brass; they can show you things in the spreadsheets that will amaze you.

It’s hard to know really, we never know the context of these deals, either loan fees or what percentage of wages if any.
Surely it’s in our interests somehow to be doing them. That would be my guess anyway.
Really wish there was a way the detail could be transparent.
An effort which almost went in v Arsenal in 2011 from McAleny I remember very clearly. Was excited about him back then.Whichever year he scored that goal against Swindon, McAleny looked great in pre-season and then never got a game once the season started. Really odd that one
Garbutt has been bleh for a while
