It's not. The designs are happening.

Why would the club spend close to two years on designs, huge amounts of public consultation, close to 20 mill on leasing the land, for something that isn’t happening?

It would be the most elaborate ruse ever done by an Everton board. ‘How about lads we distract all of them by ploughing years of time effort and money into a stadium that is never going to happen, we’ll even pay an american bloke millions to do a load of work on it’

Fair enough to say that unforeseen problems may torpedo the stadium effort but its becoming ridiculous to claim that the whole thing is now a hoax.

Panicking isn’t the right word, but are you not concerned right now with the way things have gone? If you’re extremely confident all is well and we’ll be in great shape come the close of the window then fair play to you. I don’t share that confidence right now but I’m still remaining hopeful that those fear prove to be unfounded.

Did you feel the same way this time last year tho?

I understand the concern like just don't agree with the amount of bedwetting that goes on while the window is still open

Why did our manager come out and say :

He wants players in early,
and also minimum 10 days of training field with new lads.

If you're deadline day scenario comes true, has Silva been lying? or let down
Bet he'd want us to sign Messi or Ronaldo, but that doesn't mean it will happen.

No English club bar newly promoted sides made a lot of business yet. Think clubs from Europe knows they can fleece them and they learned lesson from last year. What's the point of selling now when you know those sides will become desperate in 2 weeks?

We are now way worse of than we were at the end of last season.

The reality is for 3rd window in a row, we've not backed the manager in finding a striker so far.
This lack of action makes his job much harder and we've already missed out on Europe in our first season because of lack of speed in the market.

I cannot have this at all. Do you recall how we played at the end of the last season?
The one negative is not signing Zouma (yet)
We've cleared some crap off the books. We've got players well settled in a system with a full pre-season behind them.

Way worse? Not a chance.

The window isn’t over so there’s no ‘reality’ as of yet.

In his first window we spent a fee rising to 50 million on a bloke who now plays upfront for Brazil and spent half the season doing the same for us finishing with double figures of open play goals. Is that not backing the manager when he asked for a forward?

It's Everton mate, I'm rarely confident. I'm hopeful though and I'd rather trust brands and co than worrying without any evidence.

corrected your post for you!

Honestly dont think we need one as bad as some make out.

DCL will be better, and leads the line well. More than happy to start with him, and keep allowing him time to grow with this group around him.

Other striking options is an issue, an injury to dom and we struggle.

Can’t get too bent out of shape with it all anymore if I’m honest. If we sign people we sign people, if we don’t we don’t. No point getting hysterical about it

I honestly think if we only signed centre back, we would still be better than those around us.
We ended the season miles better than them, as the team settled and finally got some good time together, people under-estimate how a group can grow and improve together, added the fact that a few newer lads now have a full pre-season.
Stating the obvious but a Striker and CB should be a priority. If we have aspirations of top 6 we can't be relying on DCL.
