Emery didn't play a lot of two striker lineups, though, so not sure they'd be considered playing the same positions. Pepe isn't really a CF.

No way on this earth we'll spend £150m+ still this window. I see Zaha, Kean on loan, CM and some sort of CB (maybe a loan again).

Why not, we're likely to bring in near 100m if everything works out

It depends on the deal, i have my doubts on the player swap thing as they rarely happen and there is just too many moving parts often that make those deal not feasible.

Zaha though is exceptional, of that i have no doubts. Trust me everyone is going to enjoy him if we get him. Hes a force of nature.

....I compare them because I think they are both ‘complicated’ footballers, who play with no real direction or in areas of the pitch where they are most effective. Perhaps Silva can get him playing with more purpose and get in areas where the opposition can be hurt.

Fair enough. I personally don't see how he can get 10G/10A last season without being in the right area's. If he came you would hope Silva could get more out of him than Hodgson.

Zaha is a much better player than Bolasie was when he joined us.

I’m all for Zaha if a deal can be done and see him as already proven in the PL, so wouldn’t need time to settle as some foreign players do when coming in.

I’d still want to see Kean come as well though, think that would leave all attacking bases covered.

If Brands wants him then it's good enough for me. Who cares what we pay? We've seen crazier prices paid for established premiership players before (maybe not by us though!). If we end up for an attacking force of Bernard, Zaha, Keen, Richarlison etc. That's really exciting I think and it only feels like a few seasons ago I was watching Jermaine Beckford and a old, crocked Saha.
