What would you take as of now given the time left?

I think Id be happy with a CB and a CF.

That would be my answer 10 minutes before the deadline. Right now we can, and need to, bring in 4 players

But if Schneiderlin goes, we already effectively replaced him with Delph, right?

Only expecting one more CM/DM tbh and that's the Gana replacement.

Think your right about those positions really not sure why Kenny was loaned out with no replacement looking imminent.its going to be an interesting couple of weeks ahead hopefully it will all fall into place I'm sure there are bids on the table just a waiting game we are playing

I do agree, but I seriously can't see us doing all of that in the time remaining. We'd need to sell more than just Gana and Lookman to fund that kind of outlay I feel.

I actually think @Neiler was bang on with this. His injury ruined him but at one point him and Rom were on fire.

Very little quality, I mean of course the Snides we currently have isnt peak Zidane, but if you go down the list on the "options" aside from the main men.

McCarthy - Likely to leave, a tiny bit injury prone.
Besic - See above
Joe Williams - Largely unproven at a decent level
Beni - Appears to have gone AWOL
Connolly - We arent even sure where he plays

So that would then leave us with the players we are certain of, we are likely to play 2 DMs and 1 ACM.

New player/Delph 6ish
Davies/Gomes 8ish
Iceland/???? 10ish

So in short maybe snides wouldnt need replacing, if we are sure of the quality of some players I mention above.
