It is a joke of a window...........for everyone, worst thing they could have done was cut the window down to the week the season opens

I don’t think any team has weakened as much as Everton have.

Leaving us with only 9 days left to fill all of these key positions is seriously bad management.

Think its how it should be done, and it should be done all around Europe. At least have next week as the cut off all around Europe anyway.

That’s where it’s flawed, every league should be cut off at same time but because everyone has stilted league starts it’s impossible, case in point the Eredivisie starts on Friday, the Jupiler started last week, Scottish Prem starts Saturday, We start next weekend same with Ligue 1 and La Liga, the Bundesliga begins the 15th and Serie A doesn’t start till the 25th

While, as I've banged on about, know that Gana's replacement won't be like for like, the player at least needs to have the pace and energy to get about and close things down. Our midfield is incredibly one-paced with Schneiderlin and Gomes in it. Delph at least adds a bit more bite, but we definitely need another.

Gbamin, from the clips I've seen, looks at least to have some pace and power to his game. Lemina has that too, tbf.

We’ve lost 2 starters, that’s it, the way you’re crying on you’d think we’ve lost half a team. Let’s not forget one of those two starters wasn’t actually officially confirmed till the day AFTER the window shut last year and 4 of the others weren’t even signed at this point, we were far weaker then

They do that because he plays for Palace and is easily their most dangerous player. They won't do it if he plays for us. Maybe you need to learn some football yourself before you become quite so condescending.

Pardon? I honestly have no idea what you're saying here. I think I was actually agreeing you, indirectly. I was just saying that teams won't double up on Zaha if he's playing for us, just like they don't double up on any of our other players, so he won't miraculously make space for other people just by being there.

Yeah pretty much. I’m not going to hide it, I think he’d be a poor transfer for us.

Gana just had this knack of being everywhere, his reading of the game was absolutely boss.

It is bad management Gwladys but not bad management of this window. I am worried and impatient but I know where blame does or does not lie. Brands clearly knows his stuff and I am sure he would agree that we are weaker than last season right now on paper. He has already shifted 10 notional first team squad members with Zouma forced, Gana regrettable. That there is still about a dozen to shift is not his or Marco’s fault! How can any PL club accumulate roughly 20 players the manager has no time for chewing up the wage bill that so you need to unload them all?! Blame Martinez/Koeman/Walsh/Sam and Bill/Farhad not Brands and Marco!

only 2 who start have gone, nobody else has started signings. once one happens and that could be Gueye the dominos will fall
