I still have no idea why he moved from Anderlecht to Turkey that last year. He needed just one more year and he would have gotten EU citizenship. Instead he went to Turkey to...I don't even know, get caps for the national team? Just really made no sense.

There was no way he was staying at Anderlecht after the way they messed him around after his injury which cost him a World Cup place

I like Tomori and would be happy with him being 4th choice. But we need 3 quality CBs to cover the 2 positions and he's not yet ready.

He's defo got an eye for talent, but that's all he's got. A terrible director of football. Maybe he could've done a job on the scouting team but the negatives you listed are unforgivable:

Bolasie £30million 75k a week
Sandro £5million 100k a week
Williams £12 million 70k a week
Schneiderlin £24 million 120k a week
Tosun £27 million 60k+??
Walcott £20million 120k a week

£120 million wasted on utter garbage and another £500,000 a week on the wages they are or were stealing

That list is frightening! What an absolute disgrace we paid that money, for those players. Imagine what Brands could do with that sort of money

Well, I'd like to see how Steve Walshs spreadsheet looks after we get rid of the rest of the dross he bought in. Yeah, he's made us money with those few players, but look at the rest
