No way both Schneiderlin and McCarthy both move. Don't think McCarthy is in any plans but Schneiderlin is a first team player - cant see any temptation to sell at all.

We do have loads of central midfielders though and young Tom has been annotated as one we will hang on to, do we really need 7-8 central midfielders, not for me. Its a key area we could shed players to raise funds and reduce wages.

I’d rather keep Besic, and I don’t rate him. I think Morgan has a bad attitude.

It’s crazy that all those players could be shifted, I doubt there would be too many of us angry if we sold any one of them. Walcott maybe, but that’s more because of lack of cover in that pos. maybe one of Besic/Morgan/McCarthy too.

I think if we could we should, but id be amazed to see all of them leave this window. Just dont think there is an interest or market for some. Especially ones not here that long. Some are more low hanging fruit financially then others.

Gbamin, Delph, Gomes, Davies, Sigurdsson is more than enough depth for a team not in Europe.

Last season Sneiderlin was 3rd choice. Now he is fourth (behind Gomes, Delph and Gbamin) and for some reason they're keeping Davies around so possibly even fifth.

We’ve lost Gueye and brought in Delph and Gbamin. We can afford to lose McCarthy, Schneiderlen and besic as far as I’m concerned.

And it means we're short in central midfield. And it isn't even injuries to midfielders, an injury in our back 4 could mean a reshuffle and leave us short.

I'M happy to wager that both Schneiderlin and McCarthy won't be sold. Its illogical.

The reality is we have dropped 60 mill on the central midfield position this window, its an area of the pitch we were overstocked in anyway. That tells its own story on how the players that are already here are rated and valued and how much game time they may get this season.

We've been saying the same thing about Davies since he chipped a goal in vs City. If Davies is starting games - were not competing for the top 6, were competing with Leicester/West Ham etc.
