Not really. We don’t know that Juve wanted a buyback clause, we only know that it was reported they did. That’s his point, that we don’t know which reports are true and which aren’t, and we can’t just pick and choose whatever we want to believe.

Well we do because people who are sauces up in Italy on juve repeatedly said they do (the same people who called the deal). It's not picking and choosing mate it's sorting the wheat from the chaff.

If you want to believe the mail and sky sports at the same level as people who actually get things right then that's up to you.

Another £10M - Let's not be silly now. We are already overpaying for an above average midfielder. Let's apply some common sense and put a line in the sand. If we continue to increase the price and/or number of players it will get to 15:00 tomorrow and they'll be saying; Include Kean and we'll sell for £150M.

Don't thinks Brands would pay that amount of money if he thought Zaha was just an above average player. Think yours and Brands thought process are miles apart. You should tell him before he makes a mistake and tell him who he should get. I am sure he will take note.

But the mail and sky were the people who originally said we’d formally bid for Zaha. Are you saying we didn’t? Even though the club has confirmed we did? Interesting take.

WE are a different animal now...we have the money and up to a point we can get what we want. The price doesn't really matter any more, to be honest. If we don't pay it, eventually someone else will. This is the tragic truth about football today. In the Premier League, we are financially a big player now.
I know, it’s a rough adjustment after being skint for so many years isn’t it, either way I’m excited about the future whoever we get

Brands hasn't overpaid yet. If any we've had great value from all good purchases except Mina. I trust him to worry about money and I'll just enjoy watching the footie.

You think the Daily Mail don't have sources? Wow.
