Having just listened to Marco's press conference, if you haven't gran a listen. It seems to me the one he was most annoyed about was Rojo not coming, which surprised me, but he obviously was keen on the deal and on the basis he wont play at United I wonder what went wrong

I hope so. My OCD can't be dealing with a forward line of 30, 27 and 20. And I'd rather have OCD then see our number 9 in the starting XI.

To be honest, looking at all the other clubs around us i dont think we have done too bad. I reckon every club in the top half of the table from last season will think they needed one or two more players. In reality we were only 1 CB away from what would have been a great window in my eyes.

A number 8 neatly fills in the gap between 7 and 9. If not for 8, there's only be nine numbers between one and ten, causing all sorts of arithmetical problems.

There are some fabulous players in that team, it's just that they are all well past their peak.
The balance is all wrong with absolutely no pace whatsoever.

• Mirallas - loan him and hopefully get most of his reported £70k covered and we say our goodbyes.
• Martina - terminate his contract. Even if he could play centre-half and Mina and Keane got injured today I would still terminate his contract. Worst professional footballer I have ever seen!
• Onyekuru - confirm sale for £12-16m to Monaco

Potentially £20m in fees and nearly £200k a week or £10m a year in wages saved.

I would keep Schneiderlin and Tosun.

Tricky. Perhaps that's why a false 9 can be effective. Maybe a false 9 is an upside down 6. I'll give it some thought.

I`d offer Niasse, Bolasie and Mirallas on free transfers just to get rid and save wages, same with Martina but I`m not sure anyone would want him. Just take the £12-£16m for Onyekuru.

But since I am in Australia, would an upside down 6 actually be a correct way up 6 meaning it is an inverted false 9 in the wrong orientation?
