While Coleman has had a decent few months his final ball, cross aren’t good enough. Full backs in the modern game are so important, just look at Liverpool’s 2.

A RB on the same level as Digne or even better would make a huge difference to our team. I’m not a sentimental fan so I do really care he cost 60k or hes come back from bad injury. If there is better out there then we should go and get them.
I believe Digne was bought in to bed in over the season just gone to make his impact next season. He just came off spectacularly quickly. I think a new rb with a view to bedding in this season and taking over Coleman in the 20/21 season is probably the way to go about it - though if he starts pulling up trees straight away, then so much the better.

That would kill the site for summer though! I'm sure a few In/Out discussions on the tea ladies would remain ....
Just imagine though. Get out into the back garden with your shorts on, maybe even go away to unwind. Enjoy the sunshine. Don't have to even think about the boys and how they're doing. A few ales, a bit of scran. Sorted. Just enjoy the summer and come back a pant size or two bigger from all the good living.

Or as it's known at Finch Farm, doing an Ashley Williams.

I robbed the following off a @Zatara post about players out of contract. Apart from Zouma and Gomes, what is the Everton position on the rest of them? I presume that they could almost all be let go off if the right offer came up for them, as Everton probably wouldn't be getting anything but a token fee for some of the 2020 group and would have little or no say over the 2019 group if they got an offer.

2019 (6 players)
Baines
Jagielka
Browning
Williams
Zouma
Gomes

2020 (7 players)
McCarthy
Stekelenburg
Niasse
Martina
Garbutt
Galloway
Tarashaj

no say whatsoever with the players out of contract in june, though it really only is jagielka and baines as browning left in jan/feb.
think mirallas is in the 2020 group too

I may have snipped him off as I copy pasted that link. Freudian snip for our Kev? Either way, one to get rid off if possible as I don't see him rehabilitated into the squad under Silva.

Browning has already gone mate.

For sure I can’t see him having the same hunger he once had, but the discussion was about his quality as a striker.

Lukaku is a true shame, he’s only 25ish and looks finished.
Is he genuinely only 25 though? I reckon he is 32/33. Have you ever seen the footage of him when he was "13"?

We are linked to 19 year old Reece James from Chelsea on newsnow. He’s been on loan at Wigan and I’ve seen half a dozen games with him in midfield, an excellent calm player. Apparently usual position is right back. Would be an excellent signing and could be phased in with Seamus over next few years.

Would be a great purchase but last I heard he came back from Wigan and went straight into first team training.
