Not the rumor from Barca fans. I have not seen him play but was surprised to see the fans via twitter saying he had done more with less time than others have with more.

Again I’ve never seen him play this year other than cameo against the other night or even looked at stats and minutes.

I just read this the other day.

They are probably basing their opinion by comparing him to Coutinho who has just looked like a poor man's Mark Pembridge

For any blues thinking Everton will deffo spend huge this summer and challenge top 6 I urge you to temper your infectious optimism. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of our 'top 4' form due to our successful finish to this season.

We've taken in approx 128m in revenue this year. Significant amounts of this sum go on player salaries. We have boat loads of players who have not even been at Goodison this season, proving difficult to offload. They cost a Kings ransom to support and it's money down the grid for us and it's holding us back. We made a financial loss last year but it wasn't as big as it should've been, due to Moshiri's 250m investment.

We've got massive challenges this summer. Idrissa seems likely to leave. He is such an important player for us. We will have a battle to hold onto Zouma and Gomes, two important loanees that have certainly improved us.

We are crying out for a striker who can both hold the ball up and slot goals as well.

If Brands is as good as we all hope maybe he can meet these huge challenges. However even if we fail to secure our impressive loanees and Idrissa or Richarlison leave we will have to bed in new replacements. This has proved to be tough going for our club in recent seasons. We need to build on what we have and not constantly re-build. I really hope Brands shows us what he can do this summer. I'm aware of the huge challenges he faces so I'm not as maybe optimistic as I'd like to be.

Tameze was discussed a few pages back. Stylistically, he's got a bit of what we need. Central / defensive mid, good work rate, seems pretty intelligent in terms of his defensive positioning & his decisions with the ball. Has some tricks and skills, too, from what I've seen. Would certainly be a good squad player for 10M and might be more.

Before considering any player from from the Gym one should look at what happened to Seri at Fulham. Ligue 1 is a very poor level and most players with a pair of boots look good in it.

We need to stop loaning out the dross - no-one we loan out actually commands a fee or is wanted by the loaning club - because they are awful footballers. Just get rid of Mirallas, Sandro, Bolasie, Besic and pray that someone is crazy enough to take the Clown.

....the reason they are loaned is that no club is prepared to buy them and the players are not willing to have a drop in pay.

Going to be real tough this summer now I e had a proper think about it.

We obviously have so many millions of players to shift, some of which will be nigh on impossible to do, YES YOU SANDRO.

There will be lots of other clubs buying. Teams like United basically need a new team.

Brands has his work really cut out. Feels like a hugely important summer for us.

Think we'll be shopping in a totally different market to united tbh. We'll be looking for young punts whereas they'll continue to spunk money looking for a super signing or two...without a plan.

I actually think OGS will buy a few players nowhere near good enough for united. Akin up Hodgson buying konchesky for liverpool.

... Okay, maybe not that bad, but that similar kind of rubbish.

Simply not true. Look, Seri was a midget that couldn’t tackle anyone, but could spot a pretty pass. He was a dumb buy and want even that great in Ligue 1. He’s not a good example.
