Yeah he doesn't look the best. I can see the appeal of signing someone who is more of right-midfielder - rather than a winger - as it gives our midfield balance with McNeil on the other side, but Elanga would not be my choice either.

The limit on loans only refers to players from the PL, not overseas. The maximum number of players a club can loan in a season is four, however, a club can only have two loans from the PL at any one time. EFC can get two loans in before the Fulham game but if EFC wants to register the maximum four loans, the two that are signed before Fulham need return to their parent club in the Jan window and only then can EFC get two new loans in.

He's bloody terrible mate. I always like to sign young players and am of the belief that it is a good idea to give academy kids a go, even if they aren't good enough, for the temporary uplift.

But Elanga is so, so bad. To the extent that I was genuinely surprised he has come through the Utd academy. Having said that, so did Michael Keane so . . .

I don't know much about him - but 21 and a reasonable youtube vid, once highly rated etc.

4 weeks to go and we have let quite a few players go and have brought in 1 free very old player who still hasn't been announced. As we stand we are worse off than last season and definite relegation fodder but don't worry, the king of transfers and contacts is on the case. The only person that didn't see this coming is the ignorant helmet who begged him to stay.
