Doesn’t like the Oxford comma.
I agree, if he is available on loan from City (I assume he is still contracted to them) or if he is available on a free, at age 28 he looks to be a potential bargain for the quality of player he is. If I heard Sky saying that Villa has signed Mendy on loan for a year I think I would be a happy fan.

Finally lol
What’s the actual connection with these 2 though? Don’t think they ever played for the same team did they?
Finally lol
Did you seriously just choose 2 alleged sex offenders and plump for the one least likely to reoffend?
Proper Hobsons Choice this. Lol
WowUnless the league/FIFA decide to ban him I dont see any reason from a club stand point to avoid him when he's never been convicted in the courts.
Clearly he was guilty of what was alleged & you can see why some fans wouldn't want him at their club as what he did was a scumbag thing... but I do think at 19/20 you can argue he deserves a 2nd chance to try turn his life around.
Sadly you'll see more of this sort of thing as football becomes more and more ludicrous in the huge wages these young immature lads are being paid and the power/fame that comes with it.
Too much too soon.
Even by your standards that’s just, wowUnless the league/FIFA decide to ban him I dont see any reason from a club stand point to avoid him when he's never been convicted in the courts.

The atmosphere & condition of our club at the moment could not withstand such a divisive little shabite joiningWould imagine if he stays in England he'll get some flack from opposition fans likewise potentially his own team mates.
In our current predicament would rather we took a punt on Greenwood - kids only 21 maybe there is potential for him to mature/turn his life around particularly now he's just recently become a dad.
Think he'll know its last chance saloon in this country as a footballer based on what has gone down in his personal life of late.
I know mate
I can't decide if you are just saying something controversial for attention or really are that tone deafUnless the league/FIFA decide to ban him I dont see any reason from a club stand point to avoid him when he's never been convicted in the courts.

he's talking about GreenwoodAcquitted by two juries so clearly not guilty otherwise he would have been found guilty and sentenced….
I get the whole ‘No smoke without fire arguement’ but my experience has been when a defendant is facing multiple complaints they are going away as in the eyes of the jury it can seem like a question of why would multiple people make the same sort of accusations. It all comes down to the facts - the press around this case makes the acquittal all the more surprising.
