I’ve only seen him play a couple of times, but he looked very uncomfortable on the ball. Almost panicking in possession. Reminded me a little of unsworth back in the day, when given the ball he’d be looking to get rid as soon as.

It might leave us short on quality but given we’ve had 93 midfielders in the squad for the last few years, we’ve got a way to go before we’re short on numbers.

for my sins i was listening to the Royal Blue podcast last night and it really is grim. No deals imminent, need to sell at least one big asset to make any serious moves and they were suggesting Dom won't be fit for the start of the season. It does feel like what is the point at this stage.

But Al Myers said on twitter we were close.

He couldn't confirm how close, or what we were actually close to (might have meant he's close to a radiator or close to getting home) but we are close to something.

Selling our big assets isn't necessarily easy if that's the plan. There doesn't seem to be ant serious interest in Pickford or Onana. (And cheer up, mate. If you're still feeling the stress then you know you're alive.)
